Corpus Christi Army Depot in Texas has purchased three vacuum furnaces from SECO/WARWICK Corp. in Meadville, PA to perform vacuum heat treatment services for aircraft components.

SECO/WARWICK will supply two (2) 2 Bar, and one (1) 12 Bar high pressure cooling, high vacuum furnaces equipped with moly/stainless steel hot zones, high vacuum pumping system, electrical controls, installation, start-up and commissioning services.

High Vacuum Furnaces

SECO/WARWICK’s high vacuum furnaces are used for solution heat treating, annealing, stress relieving, quench hardening, degassing, tempering, homogenizing, aging and brazing.  They can be equipped with FineCarb® vacuum carburizing and PreNit® high speed carburizing option.  Typical materials processed in high vacuum include carbon steel and low alloy steels, iron base corrosion resistant steel, nickel and cobalt based alloys, titanium and titanium alloys.
