Autumn is the time when the reen SECO/WARWICK team plants its forest. Larches, beeches, and birches are planted during the annual autumn campaign of creating the surrounding green Earth lungs. A group of several dozen volunteers, on Friday afternoons, leave their green mark every year.Why?
Because with our actions, we help restore air quality in our area, we contribute to environmental protection and the fight against climate change, and what's more, we set a good example by integrating these three concepts at the same time.

We are proud of our SECO/BIKE team. All of our riders aware of this activity’s beneficial effects on health. The bike helps to build muscles, endurance and improve the body’s condition and immunity, especially when we ride regardless of the weather, toughening the body. But not only does the SECO/BIKE team ride their bikes, they share the knowledge of the many benefits of this activity. Our proprietary bicycle shed is a beautiful garage for all of the two-wheelers and their owners, who, out of concern for health and ecology, are willing to park their gems there.

We say NO to plastic water bottles. They are not allowed here.Why?
Because our water dispensers are connected to the water supply network. Instead, we drink filtered water and even with bubbles. 😉 Having the filtered water coupled with ecological bottles, it tastes great. Especially when we know that, depending on the type of materials used to produce them, it takes 100 to even 1000 years to decompose plastic water bottles.

For us, it may already be too slow, or maybe with too little power, but for many it is still very attractive. We are talking about personal computers used by SECO/WARWICK employees. After restoring their functional lives during the pandemic, they helped local students continue learning online.This is how we connected generations ecologically!
We are happy, the children are happy, and the environment has improved, what more could you want? Ecology is cool!

We celebrated one birthday, the round one (the 30th), ecologically and left our green souvenir in the form of 30 trees planted on the company’s premises. We plant forests, so let our land be green too, right? By planting trees/forests, we know that we support nature, our local environment, and future generations – but the best part is that we have a beautiful souvenir of this landmark birthday.For two years, 30 beautiful hornbeams have been decorating our area.

We actively and usefully celebrate the Earth Day. Every year on this occasion, the SECO/CSR Group and friends, clean up the company’s surroundings, leaving behind a clean forest and park areas.We only have one Earth, one beautiful neighborhood, one Earth Day (April 22), but each of us has many opportunities to protect it. That is why we encourage others to copy our activities during integrations or daily walks.

We build and provide local schools, kindergartens, foundations, and organizations with original SECO/HEARTS - metal containers where everyone can put plastic caps, which are then recycled. The profit from their sale is donated to charity. A ton of caps returns as much as PLN 1,000 in purchase, and for this amount you can carry out as many as 10 rehabilitation classes for the youngest children in need. Our initiative combines the idea of building ecological sensitivity and awareness (SECO/ECO) as well as the natural willingness of people to help those in need (SECO/CSR). By collecting plastic caps together, we show solidarity to those most in need. At SECO/WARWICK, we have green hearts.

We help nature and people in various ways, while promoting S(ECO) behavior. This prompted the CSR Group to accept the invitation to collect garbage together.But not just any kind, only electronic waste.
We joined the collection of e-waste to support the local Fire Brigade activities. We have collected redundant, old, useless, household electrical devices (small and large), which must not be thrown into the ordinary garbage. We donated the electronic collection to the Volunteer Fire Brigade, collecting funds for the unit’s budget. Remember, they are also socially active.

Did you know that we fly ecologically?Yes, this is possible.
Well, the points flown are exchanged for the purchase of sustainable aviation fuel, SAF.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a general term for all aviation fuels which are produced without the use of fossil energy sources. Today, the most widely used Sustainable Aviation Fuel is made from biogenic residues. Fats from the food industry (waste kitchen fats) and industrial waste are used for this purpose. in this way, we support technology that reduces our dependence on fossil fuels.

Ecology is inscribed in our DNA, including the marketing group activities. For example, old, outdated, damaged roll-up graphics or those with an old logotype do not end up in the trash.Why?
Because we give them a second life.
How?
Eco-friendly document folders, pencil cases and cosmetic bags were created from them. They show fragments of our solutions and still valid keywords like INNOVATION, EFFICIENCY, ECOLOGY, DEVELOPMENT.
Now framed in our logotype, and sewn by the disabled, they delight the recipients.
And so, we combined social assistance (SECO/CSR) with ecology (SECO/ECO), because eco-gadgets were sewn for us by the ZEROBAN social cooperative operating in the spirit of upcycling and professionally activating people with disabilities. And just as this cooperative unites forces, SECO/WARWICK MKTG creatively combines social and ecological responsibility.

We give things a second life. With an internal bulletin board, it’s easy, because we pass (sometimes for a nominal fee) what we don’t need, don’t want or something a child has grown out of 😊.But we went a step further.
In the spring, we cleaned our home libraries and exchanged books, according to the maxim that an unread book is an unhappy book. GIVE A BOOK A SECOND LIFE campaign meant bringing books that we no longer use so that others could use it. You give to get, that’s how it worked for us. Titles that did not find their recipients, and there were a few cartons of them, were donated to the local library. It’s called SECO/HAPPINESS.

Ecology helps, not only the environment. It helps all people, including individuals.How?
Collecting caps can be a huge financial gain because the caps can be monetized. So are used batteries. Both materials, which are a valuable source of secondary raw materials, can be the source of funds to support someone’s health and happiness.
That is why we collect these materials in our homes and in our company: caps and batteries, which we gave to one of the local residents so that she could help her sick daughter.

It would seem that business and the environment are a difficult duo, but SECO/WARWICK proves that it fits and rhymes perfectly. During our proprietary on-line event e-SEMINAR 4.0 Heat Treatment & Metallurgy we supported one of the largest international environmental organizations by donating a symbolic $1 from each ticket sold.In this way, we could help by engaging our customers, partners, and other participants of the project. SECO is ECO in name, thinking and action. Together we change the heat treatment and metallurgy color to green.
