SERVICE MANAGER / SR. ENGINEER / ENGINEER

We are looking for a service engineer for various locations in India.

KEY COMPETENCES

In the work of a service engineer, we say that “the only constant thing is change” 😉 That’s why it’s important for us to be able to react when plans change unexpectedly, or “dead things turn out to be mean” or when time is running out faster than usual. In short, stress has a constructive and creative effect on you.

We are looking for a diligent and committed person who knows the operation of heat treatment equipment and has experience with automation systems for industrial equipment.

He can not only write reports and conduct constructive and factual correspondence, but also has experience in working with technical documentation.

From the “hard” things, practical knowledge in the field of electrical installations, operation of industrial automation devices, i.e. inverters, regulators, transducers, is important to us.

Basic knowledge of PLC operation will greatly facilitate your work, as well as the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Do you have SEP electrical qualifications? Great, that’s a big plus. You do not have? Don’t worry, we’ll organize the course. Knowledge of programming in TIA Portal (Siemens S7-1500 controllers) will also be an advantage. 

   

AS A SERVICE ENGINEER:

You will mainly deal with technical customer service – at Seco/Warwick , we support customers primarily in the post-warranty period and help them deal with problems on devices manufactured by us, but also by other manufacturers. Often, at the customer’s request, we modernize the furnace or its elements, sometimes we move and start devices from one location to another. We also carry out service inspections, temperature distributions or leak tests.

Working in this position means, apart from devices, people who count on you. Technical support and on-site service are full readiness and challenges that drive and are like a puzzle to solve. Device service during and after the warranty is remote customer support in solving the problem or repair of the device at the customer’s premises.

The work of a service engineer is a constant development. We need to keep up to date and even one step ahead.

Also, be prepared to see corners of the world that you might have known from TV so far – travel is inscribed in the nature of this work.

 

OUR DEPARTMENT

The Service Department at SECO/WARWICK Services mainly deals with customer service in the post-warranty period, we remove failures and errors of devices after the end of the warranty period, we modernize and repair older devices, we perform periodic inspections – and sometimes we also move entire lines of devices from one customer’s plant to another.
