Łukasz Piechowicz PhD, Eng. is a Czestochowa University of Technology graduate from the Faculty of Process and Materials Engineering and Applied Physics department. He was awarded a doctoral degree in technology (fields of metallurgy, specialties: charge heating and heat technology) in 2009. He is an author and co-author of about 50 publications, including papers for national and international journals, as well as one patent. He has pursued his career in SECO/WARWICK Group since 2009. From 2009 to 2012, he was a Chief Specialist of Heat Technology and a Research and Development Coordinator. Currently, he serves as the R&D Director, his responsibilities include execution of research and development projects and collaboration with scientific research centers. He leads a team of highly qualified experts in materials engineering, metallurgy, computer simulation and industrial automation. Currently he is advancing his scientific interests by applying phenomenological algorithms to thermal process modelling and control in heat treatment of metals.
